This winter, Mayfield will come alive with live music, art, and community creativity!

Join us for the Mayfield Mini Arts Trail, a free, family-friendly event where Maitland Road transforms into a vibrant celebration of local talent. The event is proudly supported by the Mayfield Business Improvement Association.

Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of Mayfield’s large-scale murals from past community projects. Trail maps are available to download from or can be picked up at participating cafés and shops on the day.

LIVE ART & MUSIC ALONG MAITLAND ROAD

More than 20 visual artists will be painting and sketching live on easels at local businesses along Maitland Road.

At the same time, live music performances will take place beside them, creating an immersive, street-long celebration of creativity and community. Artists will be located at:

COMMUNITY ACTIVATION @ CASTLE

Castle will also host a special community activation at 85 Maitland Road Mayfield featuring:

· An artwork showcase by NDIS participants

· A handmade jewellery stall offering necklaces, bracelets, and more crafted from repurposed kitchen cutlery

· Lawn games including bean bag toss and hula hoops

· An anime art table where visitors can create and contribute

· A quiet sensory chillout zone for relaxation

· An inspirational rock painting station where attendees can paint and take home their own mindful creations

· Festive decorations with colourful flags and banners both indoors and outdoors to create a lively atmosphere
